Twine Surveys Pty Ltd has been delivering professional surveying services across the Atherton Tablelands since 1949, completing more than 10,000 projects throughout the region. With extensive experience in land development, our work spans from small two-lot subdivisions to large-scale, multi-stage developments, with involvement often extending from initial concept through to final completion.
Beyond land development, Twine Surveys has successfully delivered projects across the mining, engineering, and town planning sectors, demonstrating the breadth and adaptability of our expertise.
We provide surveying services to a diverse client base, including private landowners, property developers, multinational organisations, and government authorities such as Tablelands Regional Council, Mareeba Shire Council, the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM), and Sunwater.
Operating within a multidisciplinary environment, we work closely with engineers, town planners, solicitors, environmental scientists, civil contractors, geologists, and builders to deliver outcomes that are practical, cost-effective, and efficient.

Brendan has over 20 years in the industry and is currently registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Cadastral and Consulting Surveyor.
He has also worked in all fields of the surveying industry and has a profound knowledge of the profession. Brendan’s has work ethic and professionalism has built him an undeniable reputation for delivering great results efficiently.
Roger Twine
Senior Surveyor, Senior Town Planner, Associate Surveyor
Roger is an integral member of Twine Surveys with more than 40 years of surveying experience across the region. His extensive local knowledge, practical expertise, and trusted advice have earned him a highly respected reputation within the community and industry.
Registered as an Associate Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, Roger is highly experienced in cadastral, engineering, and town planning-related surveying. Known for his practical approach and exceptional problem-solving skills, he consistently delivers effective solutions to complex development challenges.

Ivan Luscombe
Senior Surveyor, Cadastral Surveyor, Consulting Surveyor
Ivan is currently registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Cadastral and Consulting Surveyor. He has worked on countless projects across all surveying fields in a multidiscipline environment with 50 years’ experience in the survey industry. Ivan is considered an expert in all aspect on surveying. The majority of his experience is within the engineering and cadastral fields.
